What We Ship

Flair Cargo accepts a wide range of general and specialized cargo categories. All shipments must comply with IATA regulations and applicable Transport Canada requirements.

Accepted Categories

Cargo We Accept

General Cargo (GEN)
Standard Freight
  • E-commerce & Parcels: Small to medium-sized packages and courier bags
  • Fashion & Textiles: Clothing, footwear, and retail merchandise on hangers or in cartons
  • Electronics: Consumer electronics, household appliances, and computer components (provided they do not contain restricted lithium batteries)
  • Automotive & Industrial Parts: Spare parts, tools, and non-hazardous hardware
  • Printed Materials: Books, magazines, and commercial documents
  • Personal Effects: Household goods and personal items (shipped via a freight forwarder)
Perishables (PER)
Temperature-Aware Freight
  • Fresh Seafood: Fish, lobster, and shellfish (must be in airline-approved, leak-proof packaging)
  • Produce: Fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Floral & Plants: Cut flowers, decorative greenery, and nursery stock
  • Meat Products: Fresh or chilled meats
  • Dairy & Deli: Cheese, yogurt, and other processed chilled foods

Restrictions

What We Do Not Accept

1. Dangerous Goods (DG) & Hazardous Materials
No-DG Carrier

Flair is currently a No-DG carrier. We do not accept any items classified as hazardous under IATA regulations, including:

  • Lithium Batteries: loose batteries or items containing large lithium batteries (e.g., laptops, cellphones, e-bikes, scooters, or power banks)
  • Chemicals & Gases: aerosols, flammable liquids, paints, or compressed gas cylinders
  • Explosives & Firearms: ammunition, fireworks, or weapons of any kind
2. Temperature-Sensitive Live Animals (AVI)
Live Animals
  • Household Pets: we do not currently accept cats or dogs (PETS) as manifest cargo. For traveling with a pet in the aircraft cabin, please refer to the Flair Airlines passenger website
  • Other Live Animals (AVI): all other types of live animals are not accepted at this stage of our operations
3. Oversized or Outsized Cargo
Bulk-Load Limits

As a bulk-load carrier, all cargo must fit through our standard aircraft bin doors. We cannot accept:

  • Oversized Pieces: any single piece exceeding 80 cm in height or 120 cm in width
  • Overweight Pieces: any single piece weighing more than 150 kg
  • Palletized Freight: we do not accept intact pallets (ULDs) — all cargo must be tendered as loose, manually handleable pieces
